At the Rüheina kindergarten in Peetri, excessive heat became a problem on sunny days, occurring in various rooms. As it is a relatively new building, a solution that would not require extensive renovations was preferred for improving the indoor climate. Therefore, solar control window films were chosen, which helped reduce the impact of heat entering the rooms and create a fresher and more pleasant indoor climate once again.
When installing, the different solar loads on the various sides of the building were taken into account. Therefore, solar control films with different degrees of darkness and efficiency were installed on the different sides of the building, according to the duration of sunlight entering the rooms.
