We installed multifunctional film on the cabin windows, which reduces solar heat and adds security, ensuring a pleasant indoor climate even on the sunniest days.
In Estonia, there is little warmth and sun during the summer months, which is why separate cooling is not usually planned for when constructing buildings. However, with this summer house, the aim was to ensure a pleasant indoor climate even on the sunniest days, so that the rooms wouldn't become hot and uncomfortable. With this goal in mind, we installed a multifunctional film on the windows.
The selected film reduces heat gain from the sun, improving the indoor climate, while simultaneously adding security by making windows more difficult to break. As a result, rooms are more comfortable and secure without sacrificing natural daylight or views.
