The sun caused an uneven indoor climate on different sides of the building at Tammsaare Business Center, which the existing climate system could not regulate separately. The problem was solved with solar control films, which preserved the facade's appearance and maximum light transmission while blocking excessive heat.
In the case of the Tammsaare Business Center, the problem was with the indoor climate on different sides of the building, which depended on the sun's movement throughout the day. The existing climate system did not allow for temperature regulation on different sides of the building, thus creating a situation where people working on the south side were too hot in the office on sunny days. At the same time, cooling their offices caused employees in the north-side offices to feel cold.
We solved the problem with solar control films. We chose a product that did not alter the facade's appearance and ensured maximum light transmission while simultaneously blocking excessive heat. We carried out the work suspended, including at times in windy weather. The client for the work was Kaamos Ehitus.
