Answers to Frequently Asked Questions About Films and Film Application.
Request a quoteThe cost depends on the specific car model and the size of the surface to be tinted. Tinting the rear of a simpler car usually takes 1.5–2 hours, and tinting all windows takes about 2–3 hours. For less common and more exclusive cars, the tinting process can take more than 6 hours.
The price range for tinting common passenger car windows is generally the same. The cost of tinting is determined by the complexity of the setup, specific model characteristics, and the time required.
For windows behind the driver, there are no restrictions. EV laws stipulate that the driver's door window (glass + film) must allow 70% and the windshield 75% of light to pass through.
Washing the car before bringing it in for tinting is recommended. It is significantly more pleasant to apply film to a car that has not come directly from gravel roads to the workshop. A very dirty car affects the quality of the tint film installation and increases the risk of scratches!
If possible, the car should be empty of items such as a stroller, bicycle, other sports equipment, or tools.
Our offered film warranty period starts at 3 years, and for more expensive films, it extends up to 15 years. Even films with shorter warranty periods hold up well in our climate. Since the tinted film has a scratch-resistant layer, the film can withstand minor mechanical forces.
We provide a two-year warranty on our work. The warranty covers situations where a car interior detail has been left hanging during assembly, not properly reinstalled, or has been damaged during the work. The warranty for tinting films is 3–15 years. In Estonian conditions, our installed films will last the lifetime of the car.
During the process, the rear parcel shelf (for sedan body types), door panels, and movable window glass will be removed from the car (glued glass will remain attached to the body). The film will be applied to the inner surface of the glass and left to dry until the film is completely adhered to the glass. We pay special attention to reassembly. Since we have the most common types of upholstery clips, we will replace any broken clips to prevent any unnatural squeaks or rattles.
Car paint protection film means installing a transparent and durable polyurethane film (PPF) on the painted surfaces of a car. The film protects the car's paint from stone chips, scratches, salt, insects, and UV radiation.
Protective film protects the car from daily damage such as stone chips, minor scratches, road grime, chemicals, and fading of paint caused by sun exposure.
A high-quality protective film is practically invisible and does not alter the car's color tone or gloss. A matte finish is also available upon request.
A high-quality protective film usually lasts 5-10 years, depending on the conditions of use and maintenance. The film is UV-resistant and will not yellow or crack under normal use.
Yeah. Most modern protective films are self-healing – smaller scratches disappear with the effect of heat (sun, warm water).
Yes, protective film can be installed on both new and used cars. If necessary, paint surface preparation and polishing will be done before installation to ensure the most accurate result.
Installation time depends on the number of parts to be wrapped. Partial wrapping (e.g., the front end) typically takes 1-2 days, while wrapping the entire car takes 3-5 days.
Cars with protective film can be washed by hand or in an automatic car wash. We recommend avoiding harsh chemicals and pressure washing very close to the edges of the film. If desired, a ceramic coating can also be applied to the film.
Yes, the protective film is removable without damaging the car's original paint, provided that the removal is done professionally and the paint surface was in good condition.
The price depends on the size of the car, the number of parts to be wrapped, and the chosen film. For an accurate quote, we recommend contacting us or booking a consultation.
