Solar control films were installed on the sunny side windows of Tartu Airport with the help of Kileprofi because the waiting area and office spaces became unpleasantly hot on sunny days. 3M matte solar control films were chosen, which did not alter the appearance of the building nor compromise the airport's operations from a safety perspective.
At Tartu Airport, the waiting areas and offices on the sunny side of the building became so hot on sunny days that it was uncomfortable to be inside. Therefore, a solution was needed to improve the indoor climate without requiring extensive renovations or rebuilding of the facility.
A window tinting company installed solar control window films on the airport's sun-facing windows, and high-quality 3M matte solar control films were chosen. These did not alter the building's appearance and did not compromise the airport's operations from a safety perspective.
